Class Procedures
It is expected that all students will treat others with dignity, respect, and courtesy; and will respect the rights and property of others. Appropriate behavior in and out of locker room is mandatory! No rough housing, yelling or screaming will be allowed. Students are to enter the locker room just like any classroom. Students will take their P.E. cloths out of their small locker, have 5 minutes from the tardy bell to get dressed in their P.E. cloths, lock up their cell phones, and other belongings in their corresponding large locker and report to their roll numbers.
Locks & Lockers
Each student must have a COMBINATION lock (no locks with keys). Students must provide their teacher with the lock combination. Once the student has shown their lock to a teacher they will be issues a locker for their period.
Period 1 = A locker that ends in the letter A; Period 2 = A locker that ends in the letter B; Period 3 = A locker that ends in the letter C; Following the this pattern for the rest of the periods.
The large locker is for their PE period ONLY and all items must be taken out at the end of the period and placed in their SMALL locker. The security of your personal belongings depends entirely upon your level of responsibility. Please be security conscious at all times. Lock your locker; do not share lockers or combinations with anyone. If you share your combination with friends you must be willing to accept the responsibility for any items the items that are lost or misplaced.

Students are given 5 minutes from the time of the tardy bell to get dressed and report to their roll numbers. Any students not on their roll numbers in 5 minutes after the bell rings will be considered tardy.
Absences
Following an excused absences, students must complete make-up work. Make up Daily Participation Points assignment will be on their Google Classroom. They will do a 8-10 minute workout on FLIPGRID to make up their missing participation points. After the student has finished their FLIPGRID they must email me their name and class period notifying me they completed their make up points.
Truancies
Students who are truant from P.E. class will receive a mark and not be allowed to make-up missed work. Students who leave class prior to the dismissal bell or leaving class/team without a pass/permission will be considered truant.
Medical/Parent Notes
A student recovering from an illness/injury must have a parent note stating the condition. This note must have a date, phone number, and parent signature. These notes are accepted on a daily base for only 3 consecutive days. For illness/injury of more than 3 days, a doctor’s note must be presented to the teacher with the dates the student is to be excused.
